Nick has picked a horse who will be in action at Southwell today and you'd be well advised to "snap up" it's current price.

At Southwell today in the opening race at 12.40 Crocodile Bay should run well in this claiming event. In early December he ran very well over this course when beating Elusive Warrior in good style. Clearly this race will not take a lot of winning but at his current price of [6.0] I shall be backing him in both markets.

At Wincanton today in the 4pm Parlesotho should be competitive in this decent novice hurdle. Last time out at Newbury I was impressed with her attitude as she ran all the way to the line behind Edgbriar in a warm event. Today she faces a short priced favourite in The Gossmoor Yank but he has to concede weight to this consistent mare. Currently she is trading at [5.9] on the exchange.

At Folkestone today in the 2.05 Perkin Warbeck takes his chance after being withdrawn from his race at Exeter. He was my 80/20 selection yesterday but in this field he looks like win and place material. He faces an odds on favourite in Aux Le Bahnn but he does receive weight from that rival and should run his race today. Currently he is trading at [12.5] on the exchange.

At Cheltenham today in the 1.40 Calgary Bay should go close in this valuable event. This smart hurdler ran well on his chasing debut when finishing a good second to I'msingingtheblues at Doncaster last month. He jumped fairly well that day and ran on well all the way to the line.Today he faces a stellar field but he should improve quite a bit from his last run and should appreciate the stiffer course. Currently he is trading at [3.45] on the exchange.

At Uttoxeter today in the opening race at 12.40 Glenwood Knight should make amends for his disqualification at Exeter earlier this month. He ran very well that day getting the better of Dastardly Dick close home with a mile back to the third horse. Today he faces a large field but I only think a few have a realistic chance of winning and his current price of [3.05} looks about right.

At Lingfield today in the 3.35 the well bred Lucky Dancer should give a good account of himself in this maiden run on the Polytrack. On debut at Great Leighs he ran quite well and was doing all his best work towards the latter stages of the race.He should know a bit more today and a good run is expected.

Over at Taunton in the 1.10 Cool Friend could run well at a huge price. This horse was not disgraced in much better company and if the ground is testing his stamina will come in to play and he could be involved at the finish. Currently he is trading at [34.0] on the exchange.

At Musselburgh today in the 1.50 Don't Stop Me Now is a filly that should go close. Last time out over this course she made all the running to beat Houston Dynamo easily. This Catcher In The Rye filly will probably try to make all the running again today on this speed favouring track and will almost certainly trade shorter in running soon after the start if these tactics are employed again today.Currently she is trading at [2.74] on the exchange.
