One of the most popular horses of the last few years is strutting its stuff at Ascot today but who exactly is it that will be carrying Nick's hard-earned?
At Ascot today in the 2.40 Sixties Icon should go very close in this contest. This consistent performer comes in to this race after a gutsy effort last time out when beating Tempelstern by a very narrow margin at Newbury. This son of Galileo is a classic winner and should have enough class to dispose of its rivals in this small field. At present the selection is trading at [2.34] on the exchange.

At Ascot today in the 4.50 Ethaara is a very interesting runner in this decent Listed contest.Last time out this daughter of Green Desert finished like a quality filly when getting up close home to win a fair event at Kempton on the Polytrack.Today the water is deeper but i believe that she has plenty of improvement left in her and she should go well today. At present she is trading at 6.2 on the exchange.
Today's Selection:
Ascot, 4.50, Ethaara, Win

Sunniva Duke looks to have a very good chance at Haydock today in the 3.10 - a maiden run over six furlongs. This colt by Irish 2000gns winner Bachelor Duke created a favourable impression on debut when finishing fourth in a fair maiden at Goodwood. Today he tackles a similar field but I expect improvement from this well-bred colt and he should go close in this event.
Today's Selection:
Haydock, 3.10, Sunniva Duke, Win

At Great Leighs tonight in the 8.20 Pure Song is a horse of interest in this maiden over one mile and six furlongs. This filly by Singspiel has been crying out for a longer trip as she has been finishing her races with interest notably last time out when she ran on well behind Rio Guru after meeting interference in running. This does not look the strongest of races and she should go close.
Today's Selection:
Great Leighs, 8.20, Pure Song, Win

At Kempton tonight in the 6.50 Mille Feuille should go close in this maiden run on the Polytrack surface. This daughter of Choisir has plenty of solid form in the book, notably when finishing second to Provence at Salisbury in July. Last time out she showed she could handle the surface when finishing second to Beauchamp Wizard over this course and she has the profile of a horse that is ready to win.
Today's Selection:
Kempton, 6.50, Mille Feuille, Win

At Folkestone today in the 3.50, Effort appears to have a very good chance. This colt by Dr Fong has plenty of form in the book and has been keeping some very good company, notably when finishing eighth in the Molecomb Stakes at Goodwood in July. Today he should appreciate the class drop and should go very close in this race.
Today's Selection:
Folkestone, 3.50, Effort, Win

At Leicester today in the 3.50, No To Trident has the look of a horse that is coming to hand after his decent effort in similar company last time out. This Zilzal gelding has plenty of form in the book notably when finishing second to Fiulin earlier on in the year at Doncaster.Last time over this course he narrowly failed to peg back Nawamees and today's opposition looks slightly weaker.
Today's Selection:
Leicester, 3.50, No To Trident, Win
