Timeform take you through the card at Newmarket on Sunday.

13:50 - FRONTIERSMAN (1) shaped well when fourth on his seasonal debut at Doncaster, travelling strongly on the front end and only weakening once the lack of a recent run began to tell in the closing stages. He should improve with that outing under his belt and looks sure to be involved if returning to the form he showed when winning over this C&D last September. He is joined in the Placepot by COSMEAPOLITAN (5), who was a winner over hurdles at Newbury in December and should still have more to offer in this sphere for the Alan King yard.

14:20 - NEZWAAH (5) ran well when fourth on her most recent outing in a Grade 1 at Woodbine in October, forced to deliver her challenge from further back than ideal after a slow start and keeping on well in the circumstances to be beaten just two lengths. She remains open to more improvement after just six starts in her short career to date and is fancied to resume winning ways for the in-form Roger Varian yard (nine winners from last 28 runners).

14:55 - PROJECTION (3) raced just three times last summer, including when doing wonders to finish fifth in the consolation Stewards' Cup (badly drawn and suffered interference) at Goodwood, and looks the type to get better with age. Indeed, he has the potential to develop into a top sprinter this season and is taken to continue the impressive form of trainer Roger Charlton (six winners from his last 11 runners). BIG TIME (4) shaped well when second on his first start over this trip at Lingfield in January and is also considered in the Placepot.

15:35 - RHODODENDRON (10) was most impressive when winning the Fillies' Mile over this C&D last October, travelling strongly in the leaders' slipstream throughout and quickly forging clear in the closing stages. That form leaves her 6 lb clear of the field on Timeform ratings here and, with the possibility of more to come after just five starts as a two-year-old, Rhododendron is fancied to see off the attentions of Fair Eva and can provide jockey Ryan Moore with a third consecutive victory in this race.

16:10 - QAARAAT (3) showed plenty of ability when fourth on his racecourse debut at Newbury two weeks ago, hitting the front as the field entered the final two furlongs and only weakening once the lack of a previous run began to tell close home. That form has yet to be tested, but it looks a well-above average maiden and Qaaraat can put that experience to good use against five interesting newcomers in this penultimate leg of the Placepot.

16:45 - ASTRONOMY'S CHOICE (1) made plenty of appeal on paper and looked an exciting prospect when getting off the mark at the first time of asking here last October. She should improve with that initial experience under her belt and, with plenty of fancy entries in the coming months, Astronomy's Choice is expected to show why she is held in such high regard by connections and can complete a four-timer in this race for trainer John Gosden.

17:20 - MISTER MANDURO (6) looks the one to beat here, especially as his excellent reappearance second at Bath has already received a couple of emphatic boosts. Bin Battuta is very promising, but this track may not bring about the best in him, with Oasis Charm another to take seriously.
