"...looks well handicapped on the pick of his form."

Timeform on Indian Warrior

17:30 - Not a previous winner amongst these but BOXATRICKS (4) could be the one to open his account after a solid second at Kempton last week. He's improved since running on the all-weather and is narrowly preferred. In a race of this nature, it's worth splitting stakes, so MAGOJIRO (1), who has hit the frame on his last two starts, is also included. I Am Dandy, First Breath and Burnieboozle are a few of the other more likely types.

18:00 - An intriguing contest despite the small field and REPAUPO (4) is worth another chance despite his short-priced Wolverhampton defeat, as the winner there was impressive. Mutasaamy and Headman are both very interesting newcomers, especially the latter who is a half-brother to three winners, including the smart Projected, and he's been well backed this morning.

18:30 - The Tom Tate-trained EQUIANO SPRINGS (8) is two from two over C&D and is chanced after showing up really well for a long way over further here last time. Both of his wins came at decent prices so any easing in his price shouldn't worry. Elusive Heights and Deansgate are a couple of others to consider in what looks a competitive handicap.

19:00 - Hard to enthuse over many of these, but he five-year-old mare MOSSY'S LODGE (4) has returned to form of late, including when third over C&D last week, and could be worth siding with given she remains 2 lb below her last winning mark. Clary would be a threat if bouncing back to the form of her penultimate run over C&D, while Cadeaux Boxer and Dark Confidant are others to consider.

19:30 - GEOGRAPHY TEACHER (6) looks the pick of the Roger Fell-trained runners is taken to open his account having run a personal best when runner-up over the minimum trip here last week. Popping Corks and Lincoln Red are feared, though it's worth including RAINBOW BEACH (5), a stablemate of Geography Teacher, who hasn't shown much in four starts but shaped last time as if the step back up in trip would suit; she starts life in handicaps from a lowly perch and may have more to offer.

20:00 - A tricky handicap to close the card, with BLACK HAMBLETON (6) the tentative selection. He finished second in a race that's working out well over C&D 15 days ago and should make another bold bid from the same mark. Hermana Santa and Highly Focused are a couple of potential threats, but it's INDIAN WARRIOR (4) who gets the nod as a second selection. He's having his first start for Ruth Carr since leaving Ed Dunlop and looks well handicapped on the pick of his form.
