"...she could prove difficult to peg back if having more use made of her..."

Timeform on Arms of The Angel

17:15 - ALFRED RICHARDSON (1) needs another personal best having gone up 8 lb for last month's C&D victory, but he did the job in good style that day and may well be equal to this task. Though seemingly passed over by Daniel Tudhope in favour of Black Isle Boy, Grandee could be the pick of the O'Meara-trained trio, particularly if they go hard up front, while Truth Or Dare also enters calculations.

17:45 - ARMS OF THE ANGEL (9) failed to build on her promising debut when only fifth at Brighton last time, but she was faced with an uphill task after dwelling at the start that day, and the hope is that that experience will bring her on again. The form of her debut, when beaten only a length over a mile here, is still comfortably the best on offer here, and she could prove difficult to peg back if having more use made of her, with Joe Fanning's mount likely to come into her own when the emphasis is more on stamina (should stay middle-distances at three).

18:15 - WARRIOR GODDESS (7) offered plenty to work on when fourth on her debut at Doncaster in June, making headway from the rear over a furlong out and keeping on well to be beaten just two and a quarter lengths (not knocked about) in a race that has thrown up winners. She looks sure to improve with that initial experience under her belt and is taken to open her account at the second attempt now up in trip, with new trainer John Butler well capable of readying one after a break, too.

18:45 - TRICKSY SPIRIT (1) has been keeping better company than this since winning at Bath in May and figures on a workable mark, so could be the way to go here with the Placepot in mind. Twilight arrives on the back of victories at Hamilton and Leicester, but it remains to be seen whether she can perform to a similar level back on the all-weather. Consequently, the unexposed Play Mate and Island of Life rate the main dangers.

19:15 - CADEAUX BOXER (6) was returning from a 10-week break when catching the eye behind Mossy's Lodge over C&D last week and the five-year-old is taken to emerge on top from the same mark this time. Miss Bates remains winless following 16 attempts, but she went close here recently and should give another good account, while Full Disclosure and Let Right Be Done both make some each-way appeal.

19:45 - THECORNISHBARRON (11) performed below market expectations on debut for Brian Ellison at Wolverhampton and is now 0-20 on the AW, and 1-35 overall. However, he's lurking on a dangerous mark and is worth chancing in a concluding leg of the Placepot that is bigger on quantity than quality. Kavora went close here recently and should be in the thick of things once again, while Silk Mill Blue, a C&D winner last time, also merits respect.

20:15 - SUPAULETTE (5) has failed to make an impact on turf the last twice, but she did the job well on her latest visit here at the beginning of October and Tim Easterby's charge could be the answer to an open-looking contest.

20:45 - BROKEN WINGS (5) deserves credit for finishing as close as she did from stall 11 at Wolverhampton last month and, now 2 lb lower, she is taken to get off the mark in the finale.
