16:40 - ALFA QUEEN (3) isn't really bred to get this far, but ran well enough in a handicap here last time, and with just a handful of starts under her belt, she could do better. SNOWY WINTER (1) didn't seem to get home at Chelmsford last time but had bolted up over this sort of trip there prior to that, so is worth another chance despite being even higher in the weights now.

17:10 - The one that offers something different is CHARTBUSTER (6), who had three quick-fire starts during the summer and now goes handicapping on the all-weather back off a break. His Redcar maiden fourth has worked out well enough, and if finding a little bit of improvement for the switch to handicaps he should go close.

17:40 - Open stuff but MR C (12) was unlucky not to finish closer when third at Wolverhampton last time (on his all-weather debut), and shaped as though this sort of mark won't be beyond him when things fall right. He's slowly progressive so may well have a better effort in the locker.

18:15 - This is likely to be tactical. WEELLAN (2) has had a few goes without winning, but did finish second here in a handicap recently, and could get the run of things if reverting to front-running tactics. EMERALD ROCKET (4) took well to this surface when winning here earlier in the month and is also worth including.

18:45 - Mametz Wood looked as though further than this would suit when second at Redcar on debut, and this could be a good opportunity for LINE HOUSE (8), who improved on her debut third with another in-the-frame effort at Chelmsford last time. Red-hot conditional Kieran Shoemark takes over in the saddle and she should go close.

19:15 - ACRUX (1) isn't straightforward but is dropping in class here having run well this season in better company. He didn't get the best of runs here last time (when fourth) and provided things fall more his way this evening, he'll be on the premises.

19:45 - Gun Case renews rivalries with Intiwin here after the pair finished one-two in a similar race over this C&D three weeks ago, and although the former lost out that day, he rather conceded first run to the latter and is expected to reverse form here.

20:15 - This is fairly tricky sprint but My Dad Syd ran well here on a number of occasions last winter from this sort of mark and could be the most solid option having been freshened up before his all-weather return.

Placepot permutation:

16:40 - 1, 3
17:10 - 6
17:40 - 12
18:15 - 2, 4
18:45 - 8
19:15 - 1
