13:35 - JIVE LADY (8) looks capable of far better than she has been able to show in a couple of runs so far and is fancied to show her true colours in this opening leg of the Placepot, with this sharp track expected to play to her strengths. Donny Belle, who improved when runner-up at Nottingham recently, is another to consider and Ce De Nullis has to enter calculations given her debut promise.
14:05 - SHOWDAISY (4) could have a big part to play if getting away on terms here. She caught the eye back from a break here recently and was successful on both visits to this course in 2016. Rasheeq is greatly respected on the back of a couple of solid efforts at York. Orient Class makes some each-way appeal, while STRAIGHTOTHEPOINT (7) wasn't beaten far when last of six at Ayr last time and should again be thereabouts.
14:35 - KHAMAARY (5) was a most impressive winner of her seasonal debut at Redcar and even a 16 lb hike in the weights may not be enough to stop this unexposed filly maintaining her 100% record. The clear main danger is Acadian Angel, who is also unexposed and may progress again now faced with a stiffer test. Lincoln Rocks and Normandie Lady can do battle for minor honours.
15:10 - ORION'S BOW (5) has shaped well on both starts for his new yard this season and makes plenty of apppeal from a mark just 1 lb higher than when a fine second in the Stewards' Cup at Goodwood last summer. He is joined in the Placepot by DUKE OF FIRENZE (3), who was a close third to the reopposing Caspian Prince at Epsom last time and certainly showed enough to suggest he is capable of winning again from this mark.
15:45 - GREAT FIGHTER (4) has been transformed by the fitting of a visor in recent months, translating the improvement shown over hurdles back on the Flat (scored comfortably over shorter here recently). He can go well again with his rider able to claim a valuable 5 lb. Kensington Star is a low-mileage stayer on the up and is feared most, with Mr Globetrotter and Sebastian's Wish next best.
16:20 - MAGIC JOURNEY (7) didn't look entirely straightforward, but went agonisingly close to shedding his maiden status at Ayr 12 days ago. The application of cheekpieces may help in that regard and he shades the vote in this concluding leg of the Placepot. Great Colaci was in good order on all-weather over the winter and is another to consider, along with the potentially well treated Harbour Patrol.
16:55 - ROSIE CROWE (2) ran as well as ever when second at Yarmouth last month and looks the one to beat if reproducing that level of form here. Deben and handicap-debutant Verdi make most appeal of the remainder.
17:30 - TAVENER (1) is being kept busy, but highlighted he remains firmly at the top of his game when third at Chester seven days ago, only reeled in by a pair challenging from further back. He looks sure to go well again at a track that suits him well (won over C&D in May).
