Timeform pick out three bets from Newton Abbot on Monday...
"He's been given a large rise in the weights for that success, but is likely to take some stopping again if in the same heart"
Timeform on Bandsman
Grageelagh Girl has shown fairly useful form in four starts in bumpers, placing in a Mares' listed race at Cheltenham last November. She is expected to go well in this sphere, and looks to have been found an ideal starting point for life over timber. She gets the vote to score for Fergal O'Brien. Inessa was useful on the Flat in Germany and has joined a good yard, while Massini's Dream should figure once again.
Bandsman made the perfect start to his chasing career at Kempton last month, scoring with plenty in hand, for all that the race fell apart around him. He's been given a large rise in the weights for that success, but is likely to take some stopping again if in the same heart, with the rest of the field all having something to find. Captain Buck's has been below par the past two starts, but looks next best.
We haven't seen Ocean Jive since May 2017, when he made a winning hurdling debut at Huntingdon. It's likely that he has more to offer now switched to handicap company, and gets the vote to follow up provided he's ready to go after over a year off the track. Cultivator had Fidux and Red Tornado behind him at Warwick, but he may be best fresh, and the last-two named can fight it out for minor honours this time.
