Weekend Offender - 16:00 Ayr

Weekend Offender wasn't seen to best effect at York a couple of weeks ago, left in a poor position in a race where it paid to be up with the pace. That was his first proper run for three months, and he is worth another chance to show he's a handicapper on the up racing beyond 1m for the first time. Gworn has a string of good efforts to his name here this season and should go well again, while Mulligatawny won nicely at Ripon last time.

Fortitude - 17:35 Windsor

Fortitude's profile rather stands out in this line-up as she is an unexposed filly with the potential to rate quite a bit higher. She confirmed the promise of her previous form despite not being seen to best effect on handicap debut at Kempton earlier this month, just left poorly placed as the race went. She remains with potential going forward, and, iis the one to beat under Josephine Gordon. Mr Pocket is another who will receive plenty of assistance from the saddle and he is feared most, with Gold Hunter another to consider.

Nargiza - 21:00 Wolverhampton

Nargiza showed fair form in a trio of all-weather maidens last year. She should have strengthened up during her eight-month break, and returns in a very winnable race for her handicap debut, so could be the way to go with her yard having found some form in the last week. Grey Diamond is another handicap debutant to note, while Leopard is open to further improvement.
