Fait Cop - 14:20 Windsor

Despite failing to land the odds at Bath recently, Fair Cop is confidently expected to make it third time lucky here. Indeed, she did too much too soon on that occasion and is better judged on her debut second at Chelmsford, form which reads well in the context of this race, and she remains with potential. Beck And Call is bred to need a stiffer test but showed plenty of dash at Doncaster and is next best ahead of Think Fashion.

Yalawin - 15:30 Windsor

Yalawin was most impressive when making a winning return at Ripon earlier this month, and could be well ahead of his mark now handicapping, with the drop to 5f unlikely to faze him either. He is fancied to go on improving and make a successful handicap debut. Ascot Day needs to prove he's as effective on turf having been gelded and will be a player if doing so, while Yalta's reappearance fifth at Ascot this month looks strong form.

Compas Scoobie - 16:40 Windsor

Compas Scoobie would be chasing a hat-trick if he'd had any luck at Yarmouth last time, shaping much better than the bare result, not getting a clear run but flying home in the final furlong, and he can put matters straight here. Last year's winner Rio Ronaldo is capable of a big run from 3 lb lower, but he isn't the easiest to win with, while market support for the returning Monteverdi would need taking seriously.
