SAMSON - 16:45 Newton Abbot
Bought cheaply from Sophie Leech since his previous start seven months earlier, SAMSON showed much improved form to open his chasing account at Worcester last time, winning by two lengths in a race that could hardly have worked out better, with the second and fifth both winning next-time-out. Clearly a different proposition since joining Dr Richard Newland, he may yet prove capable of better still, and it will be disappointing if he can't defy a 10 lb hike in the weights here, with the potential there for him to run up a sequence in the coming days (holds several further entries later in the week).

DELACHANCE - 17:10 Ffos Las
DELACHANCE looks short enough in what looks a tricky heat to kick off proceedings at Ffos Las on Monday. His progress has rather stalled of late, no match for the winner when second at Hamilton last time, and the drop back in trip here is by no means guaranteed to suit - indeed, he may be better suited by going the other way, with his pedigree bearing all the hallmarks of one likely to be suited by further. The one who makes more appeal is Perfect Charm, who looks to possess the necessary speed for racing at the minimum trip and may yet have more to offer now wearing blinkers for her handicap debut.

MOLLS MEMORY - 19:50 Windsor
20% - Ed Walker's strike rate at WINDSOR since the start of the 2015 season
A decisive winner of her penultimate outing at Ascot, MOLLS MEMORY improved again to follow up over C&D last time, travelling best of all through the race and ultimately well on top at the finish, winning with more in hand than the neck winning margin would suggest. The narrow leader on weight-adjusted ratings here, she remains potentially well treated from only 2 lb higher, with further improvement on the cards, and everything looks set fair for another big run in her hat-trick bid, representing the in-form Ed Walker yard that does especially well with its runners at this venue.
