THAT'S MAD left his previous efforts well behind when runner-up at Navan last month, finishing best after being forced to weave his way through from two furlongs out. He should relish the return to this longer trip on that evidence and is a confident selection to get off the mark for the upwardly mobile Richard O'Brien yard. Sonaiyla looks the obvious danger on form, while Time Tunnel could be the pick of the newcomers.

PRIMO UOMO - 18:20 Naas

PRIMO UOMO can be forgiven a below-par effort on his reappearance at Navan, having met trouble in-running at a crucial stage of the race (not knocked about thereafter). The form he showed when winning this race 12 months ago is just about the best on offer here, and having also finished third in the 2017 renewal, he would appear to hold sound claims of adding to his terrific track record. Intense Romance signed off 2018 on a high, but she appears to be at her best when the mud is flying, which could leave Ardhoomey to emerge as the chief threat.

HEAVENS ALIGN - 19:20 Naas

HEAVENS ALIGN caught the eye on last month's return/debut for this yard at Dundalk, producing easily her best effort yet to go down by less than two lengths. She certainly showed enough to suggest that she is on a fair mark, and with the scope for further improvement after only four starts, this looks a good opportunity for her to open her account. Miracles In May will be a big threat if building on his recent, improved effort at Tipperary, while Dance Alone is another player judged on his reappearance display.
