2.20 Clarke Willmott Taunton Maiden Hurdle (4) 2m3f1y

Timeform Top Rated:
139 7. MOUNT RUSHMOORE Colin Tizzard Harry Cobden
137 6. LE MUSEE Nigel Hawke Tom Cannon
121 9. TEQUILA SECRET Nigel Hawke David Noonan

Analyst's Verdict:
There was plenty to like about Mount Rushmoore's pair of runner-up efforts last month and he can get off the mark now, most likely at the main expense of Le Musee. Point-recruit Amzac Magic would enter the reckoning if the market speaks in his favour, while Golden Whisky should benefit from this longer trip.

2.50 Chetwood Wealth Management Handicap Hurdle (4) 2m3f1y

Timeform Top Rated:
120 7. NEVER LEARN Colin Tizzard Harry Cobden
118 2. SMART BOY Jack R. Barber Nick Scholfield
116+ 3. NORTH WEST WIND Evan Williams Adam Wedge

Analyst's Verdict:
Smart Boy is building up a solid record for his current yard and could be the way to go in a contest where a few of his rivals have a bit to prove. Never Learn struggled over fences before Christmas but could fare better back hurdling after a short break, while Bridge of Cally was an improved third at Southwell last time and could fare better now handicapping.

3.25 UK Gun Repairs Novices' Handicap Chase (4) 2¼m40y

Timeform Top Rated:
113 1. LILLINGTON Colin Tizzard Harry Cobden
112 5. TIKKINTHEBOX Jeremy Scott Matt Griffiths
110 6. ROYAL ACT Sarah-Jayne Davies Richard Johnson

Analyst's Verdict:
Caviar d'Allen showed a lot more when backed and second over hurdles here a fortnight ago. He could do even better over fences and gets the vote. Royal Act and Tikkinthebox are closely matched on their recent running here and can make their presence felt again.

3.55 Jackson-Stops Taunton Handicap Hurdle (4) 2m104y

Timeform Top Rated:
126 7. MARTABOT David Pipe David Noonan
125? 5. THE MISSUS Warren Greatrex Richard Johnson
124 8. TOBACCO ROAD David Pipe Tom Scudamore

Analyst's Verdict:
Cap du Nord remains with potential having appeared to get bogged down in the mud at Haydock in December and could be the one to be with back from a break. Flight To Milan is respected on his handicap bow, while Martabot could be the pick of the David Pipe trio.

4.30 Firehouse Somerset Handicap Chase (3) 3½m85y

Timeform Top Rated:
141 7. JEPECK Kayley Woollacott James Best
140 8. INVICTA LAKE Suzy Smith Micheal Nolan
136 2. MUFFINS FOR TEA Colin Tizzard Harry Cobden

Analyst's Verdict:
Jepeck is prone to mistakes which stops him from being the safest betting proposition, but his latest effort reaffirmed he's on a good mark so he receives the vote. Muffins For Tea and Invicta Lake are particularly respected.

5.00 PKF Francis Clark Llp Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle (5) 2m7f198y

Timeform Top Rated:
111 8. BROTHER NORPHIN Seamus Mullins Daniel Sansom (3)
110 7. DECKERS DELIGHT Nigel Hawke Tom Buckley (10)
108 6. RIVER DUN David Pipe Robert Hawker

Analyst's Verdict:
Brother Norphin was finishing well when runner-up at Lingfield latest and he's one to bear in mind at this lowly level. Prince Mahler and River Dun would both come into the reckoning if they can back up their most recent efforts.
