A competitive race, with several of these are lurking on potentially handy marks, but on recent form FIRST LINK's case is the most compelling. She ran as well as could be expected in a class 2 event at Chelmsford last time, prior to which she looked progressive in winning back-to-back handicaps here. Full Intention gets the nod for forecast purposes ahead of Call Me Grumpy, who has flattered to deceive the last twice.

ATOMIC JACK - 15:30 Lingfield

The most appealing of these is ATOMIC JACK. He improved when opening his account following a break at Kempton and has only found just one too good over this C&D on both subsequent starts, latterly allowing Navajo Star too much rope in an apprentices' handicap. He still looks on a fair mark. Music Man should come on for his recent reappearance and is next best ahead of Eden Rose.

GUMBALL - 16:00 Lingfield

The talented hurdler GUMBALL got the better of the smart Verdana Blue on debut in this sphere at Kempton and will take plenty of stopping, despite carrying a penalty. Allieyf went close on his Newcastle reappearance and is a much-respected main danger, while Momtalik, who showed ability in a couple of turf maidens last year, also needs considering.
