Timeform pick out three bets from Flamingo Park on Monday...
"He is surely the best handicapped runner in the race..."
Sweet Pleasures - Flamingo Park 10:50
Sweet Pleasures has been given an extra three pounds by the handicapper for winning her second race in succession over course and distance by less than a length last time out, but her running style will never see her win by too far and she looked to have plenty in the tank had she needed to call upon her reserves to hold her spot near the line. She seems to be at her peak right now and after just the twelve starts there should be even more to come from Sweet Pleasure, who can win this before a rise in class is needed.
Herodus - Flamingo Park 11:20
Herodus has his first run for trainer Stephanie Miller after leaving Candice Bass-Robinson last month, and switches to the sand here looking for improvement. Still a maiden after thirteen starts the son of Antonius Pius has hit the first four home on four occasions and is stepped up in trip to this seven furlongs having raced over sprint trips for his last nine starts. He is bred to get the distance now and if that is the case then Herodus has the form in the book to suggest this is a race he is certainly capable of winning.
Tayaar - Flamingo Park 14:20
Tayaar bolted up by a very easy five and a half lengths in a similar class event here over course and distance last time out yet he gets to race off exactly the same mark of 60 this afternoon, suggesting that he has an excellent chance of a follow up success. A son of the amazing Trippi, that was his fourth career win so clearly no fluke, and he is surely the best handicapped runner in the race, leaving Tayaar as very difficult to oppose in this field.
