Timeform pick out the three best bets from Greyville on Monday...
"...could turn out to be well treated on his all-weather debut."
Timeform on Burgundy Rose
#7 Al Jackman - Greyville R5 (13:45)
Al Jackman wasn't beaten far when fifth over this course and distance back in February and has a good chance in this contest if able to reproduce a similar level of form. He has fallen in the weights over the past few months and the application of first-time cheekpieces may be able to eke out the extra bit of improvement required for him to resume winning ways. Divine Hugh makes the most appeal of the remainder, while What A Thrill can pick up the pieces for third.
#12 Regent Seven - Greyville R7 (15:00)
Regent Seven ran out a wide-margin winner at Flamingo Park on his penultimate start in November and, though he was strictly below form when upped in trip at the same venue a few weeks later, this return to a mile should show him to much better effect and he is worth chancing to bounce back to winning ways. Deposition had won once from two runs this year prior to the enforced break and is another who can make his presence felt, while Grande Maestro also demands a second look.
#5 Burgundy Rose - Greyville R8 (15:35)
Burgundy Rose produced a career-best effort to come out on top in a Flamingo Park handicap back in October and, on the evidence of that, he could turn out to be well treated on his all-weather debut. Elegant General makes the most appeal for second, while Sarabi is another with solid place claims.
