Nick Shiambouros was on the mark yesterday when his best bet Six Gun Serenade won. Nick returns with two selections from Windsor and Kelso...
"This race will not take a great deal of winning and is generously priced at [6.2] on the exchange"
15:20 Windsor - King's Proctor
King's Proctor should go close in this interesting contest.
This colt beat Tamkeen in a maiden at Nottingham last November. He delivered a strong challenge inside the final furlong, and got up to score near the line. I think this likeable individual has plenty of improvement in him, and is attractively priced at [3.4] on the exchange.
John Gosden sends out Sevenna Star who is trading at [2.14] on the exchange. He showed promise in two maidens last term and had wind surgery in November. He is the obvious danger but is priced accordingly.
17:10 Kelso - Divine Port
I am going to take a chance with Divine Port in this handicap hurdle.
This gelding has been off the course for over two years, but has some decent form in the book. He won a race at Sedgefield at the end of 2015 on a mark of 113, which reads very well in the context of this race. It is difficult to gauge how much ability he has retained, but connections have persevered with him so I am hopeful. This race will not take a great deal of winning and is generously priced at [6.2] on the exchange.
Tetraites Style is the favourite at [3.95] on the exchange. This lightly raced gelding has shown promise in three starts, and makes his handicap debut for new trainer Gillian Boanas. It would be no surprise to see him run well.
