Timeform pick out three bets from Flamingo Park on Monday.
Mollie Pitcher 11:20 - Flamingo Park
Mollie Pitcher is still a maiden after eight starts but has placed in six of them including the last three, with a two length third to Burning Ambition over this course and distance the last of them earlier this month. The daughter of Brave Tin solider didn't seem to take to the blinkers that day, but it looks like they will be missing again this morning, and if Mollie Pitcher can repeat any of her earlier form then Tienie Prinsloo's filly ought to come home in front in this field.
Venice In May is no world beater by any standards and although he has placed on numerous occasions, he has never got that close to the winner with a two and a quarter second at Scottsville last October a career best so far. He did look one paced when tried over nine furlongs last time out here but is sensibly dropped back in trip this afternoon for his second start on the sand, and with Muzi Yeni in the saddle, Venice In May won't get many better chances.
Scootaloo is only a baby in racing terms at the age of three and has more room for improvement than most of her rivals after just the six starts. Although only sixth last time out over five furlongs here, the daughter of Toreador ran on strongly to be beaten less than three lengths at the line behind Burning Ambition. This will be her first attempt at a sixth furlong, but if she gets the trip then Scootaloo may well prove to be too good for all of these.
