Timeform take you through the card at Ludlow on Wednesday.
"Nicky Henderson has an excellent strike-rate at Ludlow (31%)..."
13:20 - LOOK MY WAY (3) had only been 6/1 for the postponed Grade 1 Finale Hurdle at Chepstow over the Christmas period and he is likely to be very hard to beat now found a much easier assignment. He was progressive on the Flat and made a good start to life over hurdles when second at Newcastle last month. Mirzam lost her action on her hurdling debut last time but has had time to recover and could be the one to follow the favourite home.
13:50 - An interesting novice. Nicky Henderson has an excellent strike-rate at Ludlow (31%), and it wouldn't be a surprise to see the expensive point winner INDIAN HAWK (6) run well here. Of those with experience SPIDER'S BITE (11) makes appeal for a yard who also do well at this track. Spider's Bite won his bumper here and remains open to improvement after two starts in this sphere, he's likely to be suited by this trip and if his jumping improves could well go close.
14:20 - Soft ground would be a slight concern for Copain de Classe given he was below form on the two occasions that he encountered more testing conditions last season, but there was plenty to like about his chasing debut at Ascot last time (which has worked out well enough) and he is a nice chasing prospect. There are no such ground concerns with SISTER SIBYL (7), and she could be the most solid Placepot option, having done well to throw down such a strong challenge when trapped wide/racing freely at Doncaster last month.
14:50 - BRAVENTARA (5) is of interest in an open race on her first start for Tom George having left Nick Williams. She fell on her last two starts for her former connections, but had excuses on both occasions (out of her grade in a listed race first time, and unsuited by two miles latterly), and is worth another chance to build on the pick of her form last season, which included a wide margin win at Warwick. She is likely to get a prominent ride, too, which is no bad thing around here.
15:20 - Hedgeinator has the services of the promising James Bowen, but he possibly isn't completely straightforward and the best option could be JACK SNIPE (3) who looked set to play a hand in the finish in first-time blinkers at Plumpton last time when stumbling/unseating three out. He should go well from the same mark.
15:50 - SIMONIA (9) is related to plenty of winners (including in bumpers), most notably Simonsig, and she very much takes the eye on paper in the context of this race, which doesn't look an overly deep contest.
