Hajjam is my idea of the winner of this interesting Classified Stakes.

This gelding finished down the field behind Vale Of Kent in the Bunbury Cup at the July meeting earlier this month. He was in contention a furlong from home, but weakened quickly when the pace lifted. He has run with credit in competitive handicaps this year, and will be suited by the conditions of this race. I think he is sitting on a big effort ,and is reasonably priced at 5.95/1 on the exchange.

Aces is the short priced favourite at 2.89/5 on the exchange. He scrambled home in a claimer at Chester last month, but has claims if he brings his best to the table.

I am going to side with debutant Reassure in this interesting maiden.

This Oasis Dream filly is out of the Dam Blahanda who won a Listed race for James Tate. There is more than enough speed in her pedigree to suggest that she could be ready at first asking. The stable has a 26% strike rate with their two-year-olds this year, which is very respectable. She has the pedigree to deliver a big effort, and is fairly priced at 5.79/2 on the exchange.

Poets Dance is the current favourite at 3.052/1 on the exchange. She finished third to Flaming Princess on debut and looks the pick of those with racecourse experience.
