Timeform take you through the card at Lingfield on Wednesday...
"...the booking of Adam Kirby catches the eye, and she is fancied to complete a hat-trick..."
Timeform on Happy Escape
13:50 - A leap of faith is required in supporting BOBBY BISCUIT (2) given his form is a little up and down at present, but he caught the eye with his finishing effort from an unpromising position at Kempton 12 days ago, making rapid headway over a furlong out, and he could be worth chancing to build on that in what looks a moderate race. Global Wonder and Rakematiz are others fancied to feature.
14:20 - John Gosden saddles two runners here but it could be worth taking a chance on the bigger-priced ANAPURNA (3). Admittedly, she didn't show much on debut at Wolverhampton last month, but she was very green, and the fact she was relatively strong in the market suggests better was expected. Her pedigree also suggests she should be capable of better, and the step up to a mile and a quarter should also suit, so there are reasons to think a much better showing should be on the cards now. Charlie Appleby's newcomer also commands plenty of respect, especially if the market speaks in her favour.
14:50 - A small but competitive field and it is the in-form HAPPY ESCAPE (1) who is taken to come out on top. She has looked better than ever in winning her last two starts at Kempton, defying a career-high mark over this trip with a bit to spare last time, quickening to lead entering the final furlong and staying on well. She needs to prove she's as effective round here now, but the booking of Adam Kirby catches the eye, and she is fancied to complete a hat-trick, likely at the main expense of Treasure Me.
15:20 - MINUTY (4) made an encouraging debut when finishing runner-up to a subsequent winner at Kempton in November and, though she has failed to build on that subsequently, there's a feeling she has been brought along with handicaps in mind. She wasn't seen to best effect on her qualifying run over six furlongs here last time, trying to make ground up out wide and one paced in the finish as a result. There is plenty of speed in her pedigree, so her stamina has to be taken on trust now up in trip, but she is bred to be better than an opening mark of 58 and is one of a few in this field that has the potential to improve further. Reignite could prove the biggest danger.
15:50 - SCORCHED BREATH (2) showed plenty when a running-on third on debut at Kempton eight weeks ago and he looks the one to beat with improvement on the cards. James Tate can ready a newcomer so With Caution may emerge as the biggest threat.
16:20 - STORM TROOPER (6) hasn't won since September 2016, but it is hard to argue with his recent form, proving very consistent, travelling best when again placed over this trip at Wolverhampton last time. Admittedly, that wasn't the strongest of races, but neither is this one, and Richard Kingscote - who gets a good tune out of him - back on board is a positive, so a big run is expected breaking from the plum draw in stall 1.
