Timeform take you through the card at Leicester on Thursday.
"He hasn't shown much in four starts but has clearly shown something at home (sent off at 5/2 for his debut last season)"
12:40 - Arthington sets the standard here but does give plenty of weight away all round to some potential improvers. The most interesting of those is probably FORGOT TO ASK (1), who was easily the best of these in bumpers (won his only start by 11 lengths) and shaped as though he possibly still needed his second run back from a break/over hurdles when fifth behind a couple of subsequent improvers at Chepstow at the end of October.
13:10 - CLIFFSIDE PARK (1) carries top weight here but could be the best option, having ran creditably behind a subsequent winner in this grade last time. His very best form for his former trainer came over this trip, so there could even be a bit more improvement to come (tackles two and a half miles for the first time since joining Olly Murphy).
13:45 - Alpine Secret finished behind Diamond Rock at Bangor last time but if anything this slight drop back in trip should help the former and hinder the latter, so it wouldn't be the biggest surprise to see that reversed here. The most interesting runner, however, is MINELLA FOR ME (2), who is very much a chaser on looks/background (Irish point winner) and made an encouraging start to his chasing career in a warm novice at Uttoxeter last month (didn't get home after being keen early). These are much calmer waters and his opening handicap mark may well be a lenient one.
14:15 - DAYTIME AHEAD (7)'s upturn in form when winning at Wincanton last month is easy enough to explain given that she was only having her second start for her new yard, and a 7 lb rise may well prove lenient enough, especially given that she dips back into mares' company here (her win was in open company).
14:50 - MORE THAN LUCK (2) didn't look the easiest of rides when winning at Taunton last time (went in snatches), but ultimately scored by a wide margin on his first start for Olly Murphy, and should take plenty of stopping under a 7 lb penalty in what looks a similarly poor race.
15:25 - Cougar Kid's Hereford win got a boost yesterday when the second won at Bangor but he has never won from a mark this high so probably isn't one to be backing at a short price here. This stiffer track should suit Don't Act Up but he would probably be of more interest at two and a half miles given how he shaped at Stratford on his final maiden start, and it could be worth chancing DOES IT IN STYLE (9), who has been well backed ahead of his handicap debut. He hasn't shown much in four starts but has clearly shown something at home (sent off at 5/2 for his debut last season) and it'd be a surprise if a lowly mark of 74 wasn't workable.
