Timeform take you through the card at Leicester on Monday...
"...he's fancied to put that experience to good use with Jim Crowley booked to ride."
Timeform on Um Shama
18:00 - UM SHAMA (12) showed plenty of ability when finishing second on debut at Kempton at the beginning of the month, and could be up to going one better here. He admittedly had the plum draw that day, but showed he was clued up on his first start, and he's fancied to put that experience to good use with Jim Crowley booked to ride. Cococabala got off the mark at Southwell last time and is a threat if he can translate that form from the fibresand to the turf.
18:30 - FLASHMAN (1) is better known for his exploits over Jumps, but he has been found a highly winnable race on the Flat. Whilst he hasn't shown much of late, he meets his two rivals on infinitely better terms than he would in a handicap, and cannot be opposed.
19:00 - MAKING MIRACLES (3) put in an excellent effort to finish second in a far stronger race than this at York on Friday, and provided he's none the worse for that run quickly turned out here, he should take all of the beating. Mt Augustus is an improving sort, and is perhaps the one best placed to take advantage if the favourite under-performs.
19:30 - DOLCISSIMO (15) is bred to be smart, and made a very encouraging start to his career when finishing second at Wolverhampton at the beginning of the month. She shaped better than the result suggests, being intimidated by a hanging rival in the final furlong. That was a solid start, and she should get off the mark at the second time of asking. Epic Challenge is next best after an excellent effort at Goodwood last time, whilst Arabian Coast is an interesting newcomer.
20:00 - GILDED HEAVEN (11) hasn't troubled the judge in her three starts to date, but she could well leave that form well behind now in handicap company, off what looks a potentially lenient mark. Eesha Beauty is the one to beat on form and is respected, whilst Playfull Spirit is another to consider in an open heat.
20:30 - X RATED (9) has been running consistently with credit of late, finishing in the frame in his past two outings. He generally gives it a good go from a prominent position, and considering that there is very little in the form of pace besides him, he could well have it all his own way from the front and pinch this for a trainer who has won two of the past four renewals. Sparte Quercus would have every chance is reproducing anything similar to his peak 2017 form and is respected, whilst Light of Joy is another who can have a big say.
