Timeform take you through the card at Leicester on Tuesday.
18:00 - Plenty of newcomers here, but probably best to stick with QUEEN OF KALAHARI (6), who showed up well for a long way in a race which had a solid feel to it last time at Newmarket. She is entitled to come on for that and should improve. Havana Gold has made a good start with his two-year-olds and GHEPARDO (5) showed plenty of speed on debut at Bath last time. She was easy to back that day, and should also improve here.
18:30 - Wide open, but IN THE SPOTLIGHT (9) has made a good start for Henry Spiller and wasn't seen to best effect last time at Chelmsford, having missed the break and given herself too much to do. She was fairly impressive when winning at Kempton prior to that, and could have benefited from a break. SANTAFIORA (4) is yet to build on her debut success at Bath, but was still green at Salisbury on her penultimate start and then had no room last time at Goodwood. She is the type to better this season and is interesting on her handicap debut for an in-form yard.
19:00 - The late market will probably tell us if Burguillos is ready to pick up where she left off last season, and she will probably win this if she is able to do so first time out. The slightly safer option for the Placepot could be MARIEE (4), however, who hasn't had many starts over this trip, which will probably be her optimum based on her pedigree/previous form.
19:30 - Naval Warfare was kept away from fast ground last season and showed his best form on a soft surface at Ayr, so there are some concerns about these conditions today. SABADOR (5) also has to prove himself on the surface, given that he has only raced on the all-weather to date, but he was fairly impressive when beating a few subsequent winners at Kempton in March and looks the type to have more to offer now handicapping.
20:00 - This field isn't short of well-bred and potentially well-handicapped horses but IL SICARIO (11) stands out from a ratings perspective given that he is able to race from the same mark as when winning an apprentice event eight days ago. He won with a bit more in hand than the winning margin suggested that day (didn't do much when he hit the front), and could have been underestimated in the betting.
20:30 - A very tricky conclusion. COVERHAM (1) is more exposed than some, but has made a good start for his current yard and should run his race once again. DRAVID (9) is a riskier proposition, having pulled his chance away last time. He has headgear on now, though, and is also worth including at a bigger price now down in trip (not certain to have stayed a mile on pedigree).
