Timeform take you through the card at Kempton on Wednesday evening...

17:15 - THE BIG HOUSE (6) found one too good for the second start in succession at Leicester earlier this month, ultimately no match for the winner but once again catching the eye with how he went through the race. Adrian Nicholls' charge has a further 2 lb rise in the weights to contend with this evening, but, most significantly, this represents a much weaker race than he has contested in handicaps, dropping into a 0-55 for the first time - he will find few better opportunities to get off the mark than this, with every chance that he could have an even bigger effort in the locker given the positive start he has made for this yard.

17:50 - QUEEN OF THE SEA (5) makes plenty of appeal on paper and can emulate her two classy siblings and make a successful debut. Daily Times is sure to progress from her eye-catching start at Newmarket, while Love Powerful is another newcomer to note.

18:20 - This will go to a newcomer, with MODERN BRITISH ART (5) getting the vote having clearly made a good impression at the Guineas Breeze Up sale last month. Striding Edge and Zingaro Boy are a couple of others to note. Red Sun sets only a modest standard on his Bath second but is entitled to improve.

18:50 - CHLOELLIE (1) was unable to justify favouritism when third on her most recent outing over C&D, but she probably ran as well as she ever has in defeat, keeping on in typically determined fashion to go down by a little over a length. That form should be good enough to see her get her head back in front on another day, and, behind only Met By Moonlight on weight-adjusted ratings here, today could well be that day, with Oisin Murphy taking over in the saddle as she bids for a sixth success at a venue that cleary suits her well.

19:20 - There is more to come from LOCAL HISTORY (7), who made a successful return at Yarmouth and can prove herself ahead of the handicapper with another win. Crystal Casque's Salisbury second has a good look to it and she can win again soon, while Regal Banner is another to consider.

19:50 - MAGIC MIRROR (11) has failed to meet expectations on her last two starts on turf, but the balance of her form suggests that she is simply a much better performer on the surface, and it is surprising that she has been rather overlooked in the betting here, when you consider the remarkably consistent profile she put together over the winter. Indeed, she has finished out of the first three just twice in nine all-weather starts since November, and now only 2 lb higher than when recording her latest win over C&D in February, it would be no surprise to see her firmly in the mix at rewarding each-way odds.

20:20 - MAINSAIL ATLANTIC (4) lacked an end product when last seen at Yarmouth in April, but it could be that the run was needed following a four-month break and James Fanshawe's charge earns the vote in an open-looking handicap. With just half-a-dozen starts under his belt, Autumn War is by no means fully exposed and may emerge as the main danger. Tralee Hills and You're Hired are others to consider.

20:50 - Preference is for IN DEMAND (1), who shaped pretty well on his recent seasonal reappearance at Carlisle and may do better still back on a sharper track. The first-time visor is another potential catalyst for some improvement from this lightly-raced four-year-old. The hat-trick seeking Greenview Paradise is bound to attract support, but bigger threats may be posed by Double Legend, The Fiddler and Nafaayes.
