Timeform on Chloellie

17:15 - CLEARANCE (1) produced a career-best effort to belatedly get off the mark at Wolverhampton two weeks ago, forced to come from a long way back in the straight and doing well under the circumstances to win as comfortably as he did. On that evidence, he remains potentially well treated from only 3 lb higher here, and while he isn't the most obvious type to follow up given his overall profile (0-16 prior to that), the form book gives him an obvious chance, behind only Affluence (an eye-catcher at Chelmsford last time) on weight-adjusted ratings with Rhys Clutterbuck taking a valuable 7 lb off his back.

17:45 - ULSTER (1) is a confident selection to add to Archie Watson's fine record at Kempton in this minor event, having shown much improved form to make a winning stable debut over C&D last month. That form sets the standard on weight-adjusted ratings here, and with further improvement on the cards after only two starts, Ulster is fancied to see off the attentions of Must Be Magic and can establish himself as a useful performer in the making.

18:15 - CHLOELLIE (2) was strong in the betting after 11 weeks off and duly proved better than ever to make it four wins from her last five starts over C&D last month, staying on strongly to lead deep inside the final furlong. David Probert clearly gets a good tune out of her, having been in the saddle for each of her last four wins, and a 3 lb rise in the weights might not be enough to stop the partnership from adding to their tally; Chloellie is clearly thriving at present and may yet have more to offer at this trip, having done most of her racing to date over six furlongs.

18:45 - RICH APPROACH (5) justified support in the manner of one a fair way ahead of his mark at Newcastle last month and is one to keep on the right side. My Dear Friend was a good second on his handicap bow/return over this C&D and can improve again, while Sir Ox is another to consider as he goes for the hat-trick under a penalty.

19:15 - VENTURA BLUES (7) acquitted herself well on debut for new connections at Wolverhampton last month, and may have finished closer but for meeting trouble in running. She can resume winning ways in this penultimate leg of the Placepot, with Espresso Freddo and Me Too Nagasaki heading the list of dangers.

19:45 - MOON OF BARODA (2) scored with a bit in hand at Wolverhampton last month and looks capable of going in again from only 1 lb higher. Colwood can make his presence felt, while Le Torrent isn't one to dismiss lightly given he's clearly capable fresh.

20:15 - MOOROVERTHEBRIDGE (10), who didn't get a clear run last time, rates the most likely winner of the finale ahead of Hic Bibi.
