"...a worthy favourite for Robert Havlin as he seeks his maiden century of winners on the Flat..."

Timeform on Damon Runyon

17:45 - REPTON (1) was a good second at Sandown on Saturday and should go well again off the same mark in this opening leg of the Placepot. Harmonica could be the type to get back on the up after a break and is next best ahead of Casina di Notte.

18:15 - DAMON RUNYON (5) shaped with promise when fourth on his debut at Newmarket four weeks ago, making up quite a lot of ground in little time over two furlongs out, before running green off the bridle and weakening to be beaten a little over three lengths. That still represented an above-average start, enough to see him well clear on weight-adjusted ratings here, and he should prove a tough nut to crack if building on it as expected, a worthy favourite for Robert Havlin as he seeks his maiden century of winners on the Flat (83 to his name so far).

18:45 - ALFURAT RIVER (3) shaped like a useful prospect when third at Windsor on debut two weeks ago and sets a high standard for the Saeed bin Suroor yard that can boast a 24% strike rate at Kempton in recent years. White Coat and Song Without End are a couple of newcomers to note.

19:15 - Charlie Appleby knows exactly what is takes to win this race, with Sound Reflection, Yodelling and Poetic Charm all having done so for the Godolphin trainer since 2013. The latter has developed into a useful performer this season, gaining that crucial black-type win in a listed race at Longchamp on Wednesday, and Appleby will be hoping for more of the same from NASHIRAH (5). She is bred to be a precocious sort, the first foal out of a smart mare who won over five furlongs at two, and could be worth chancing in this fourth leg of the Placepot, especially if the market speaks in her favour.

19:45 - MUTARABBY (1) had some strong form to his name as a three-year-old and whilst his 13-month absence is a slight concern, it would come as no surprise to see him do better still from this sort of mark. Enzemble made light of an absence to score over 1m here last month and he is feared most.

20:15 - INDIAN TYGRESS (4) has yet to match the form of her Doncaster debut success in two subsequent starts, yet her opening mark looks a workable one and, with her pedigree also an ongoing recommendation, she could be the answer. Laubali arrives in form and is feared, as is Han Solo Berger.

20:45 - FORBIDDING (10) didn't look comfortable back on turf last time and is worth another chance back on the all-weather (polytrack debut), with his previous Newcastle win looking solid. Thomas Blossom looks best of the rest ahead of Fitzwilly.
