Timeform take you through the card at Kelso on Wednesday...

16:30 - Man Look will be a danger to all if brushing up on his jumping, but he may well be held back by that aspect of his game as he was last time at Sedgefield. Mizen Master is in good heart but may find things tough from top weight (his regular pilot Fergus Gregory also only claims 7lb now, rather than 10 lb), and the best option could be SWEET HOLLY (8), who got back on the up at Market Rasen last time back off a break. Given a similar gap between this race, he may well have more to offer.

17:00 - RED GIANT (5)'s official form figures leave plenty to be desired, but he bounced back in a void race at Perth earlier this month (first past the post) and may well be able to end his drought (in official terms) if showing up in the same sort of form here.

17:30 - A big field but plenty of out-of-form contenders, and BOHERNAGORE (9) probably looks the most solid option for the Placepot, having finished second on his last two starts. He may be vulnerable if one of the well-handicapped horses (such as Romulous du Donjon, who won from a 13 lb higher mark in 2015) bounces back, but looks solid enough to make the places.

18:00 - Martiloo finally got her act together when winning at Perth in August but doesn't have the most convincing overall profile and isn't sure to run the same race again here, so could be worth taking on for Placepot purposes with OLIVER'S GOLD (1), who was out of his grade last time at Cartmel and found things happening a little too quickly for him. He has been dropped a couple of lb in the weights (now only 2 lb higher than when winning at the same track in May) and is down in class, so should go well.

18:30 - A number of in-form types are clashing here, including Beeno and Prince Khurram, but MASTER OF FINANCE (4) could be worth a go with blinkers replacing cheekpieces. He has performed well in this headgear on the Flat and though he isn't the most straightfoward, he probably remains on a workable mark in this sphere, having finished second at Sedgefield earlier this month when back off a break.

19:00 - The eye is draw to expensive Irish point winner SENOR LOMBARDY (3), who is related to a couple of nice winners under Rules. Ey Up Rocky is Flat bred and may be seen to good effect if this turns into a dash, so looks the main danger.
