Timeform on Front View

Some Man - 14:55 Thurles

This looks a deep race of its type for the time of year, but it is hard to get away from the claims of Some Man, who jumped superbly on his debut in this sphere to win at Clonmel last month. He was picked up for just £5,500 out of Paul Nicholls' yard and had already made his mark in points, so with further progress on the cards, he is strongly fancied to follow up.

Front View - 15:25 Thurles

Front View was pitched in at the deep end and had little chance on hurdling debut when runner-up to Envoi Allen in a maiden at Downpatrick, but he beat the rest of the field comfortably, and made no mistake when going one place better in a big-field maiden at Cork last time. He didn't have to improve to do so, but he went on the bridle for a long way, suggesting he had much more to offer. Front View is open to further progress now, and should be up to making his mark at this level.

Rhyme'n Rhythm - 16:55 Thurles

Rhyme'n Rhythm was well found in the market and showed clear promise when finishing runner-up on debut in a bumper at Punchestown in October, leaving the impression that the run would sharpen her up mentally. She lost ground early on the final circuit, but showed she has an engine by making the ground back up, though that probably cost her in the closing stages. There should be more to come from her now and looks a leading player here.
