KOOLASICE - 13:50 Curragh
KOOLASICE has finished close up in both starts to date and was value for extra when third at Naas last time, inevitably tiring late on after pulling his way into a prominent position before halfway. The drop back to five furlongs here should see this free-going sort to better effect, with more than enough speed to cope, and it will be disappointing if he can't make it third time lucky at the expense of My Friend Stan, who showed plenty of ability on debut, and Gatwick Kitten.
KNOW IT ALL - 14:50 Curragh
A good winner here on her penultimate start, KNOW IT ALL was far from disgraced when seventh in the Debutante Stakes over the same C&D last time, travelling better than most for a long way and still beaten only three and a quarter lengths at the line. That form sets the clear standard on weight-adjusted ratings here, and with the prospect of even more to come after only three starts, she is fancied to get back to winning ways in a race won 12 months ago by the subsequent dual Guineas winner Hermosa. The Dermot Weld-trained pair of Tasalka and Shehreen are feared most.
INNISFREE - 16:00 Curragh
INNISFREE was runner-up to the more-experienced Year of The Tiger on debut and still looked rough around the edges when beating Shekhem at Galway, headed briefly a furlong out before knuckling down late to get the job done. Open to further improvement, he looks the pick on jockey bookings for a yard that has won this a remarkable 18 times - including the last three with the subsequent Group 1 winners Capri, Saxon Warrior and Japan - and, in truth, it is hard to see anything beating him. Killarney winner Camorra completes the shortlist.
