Timeform on Wolf Prince
Wolf Prince - 12:25 Fairyhouse
Wolf Prince confirmed the promise of his hurdling debut when readily landing a Fairyhouse maiden by 14 lengths last month before finding only the useful Aspire Tower too good (for the second time) when runner-up in a Grade 2 at Leopardstown on Boxing Day. Though no match for the winner, he did pull clear of the rest of the field, confirming himself a fairly useful juvenile, and sets the bar pretty high in this contest, so shouldn't have too many problems getting back to winning ways.
Voix Des Tiep - 14:45 Fairyhouse
Voix Des Tiep showed improved form on his chase debut a couple of months back when a close third in a Naas maiden, showing plenty throughout, but struggled with his jumping at Navan next time out when falling three from home. That wasn't his first mistake of the race however, so he will need to have improved in that respect, but he remains with potential in this sphere and is selected to get back on track for trainer Willie Mullins, who has taken this race three times in the last five years.
The Long Mile - 15:20 Fairyhouse
The Long Mile had shown fairly useful form over fences but proved a different prospect altogether on his handicap chase debut last month when successful at Naas. He was probably value for a little more than the bare winning margin implies as well, considering he was forced to change route in the closing stages and, assuming he turns up in similar form here, he ought to take plenty of beating.
