JAZZ RANGER - 17:45 Galway

JAZZ RANGER made a positive start for this yard when runner-up twice at Sligo last month, beaten just a short head on the most recent occasion, and he may be capable of going one better now. Ashqar ran well from out of the weights at Listowel last time and is a threat back off his proper mark, while Dumhach Thra and Bellewstown scorer Sizing Malbay cannot be ruled out with confidence, either.

FRED THE FOOT - 18:15 Galway

FRED THE FOOT offered something to work on sent chasing at Wexford in July and has been in top form over hurdles since. He remains with potential back over fences and is preferred to the four-year-old Fine Brunello, who was in the process of running well when falling two out on chase debut at Killarney last month. Charlie Stout is another to consider.

ISLAND MASTER - 18:45 Galway

The majority of these have something to prove for one reason or another. ISLAND MASTER is just about the only exception, given that he's been in good form since returning to action in June, he's a course winner and appears to act on all ground types. The 10-year-old gets the nod ahead of Pistol Shoot, who is in good hands and may raise his game now handicapping.
