Timeform on Farnese

Marmolata - 17:45 Dundalk

Marmolata shaped with plenty of promise at Cork last month, running on for mainly hand-riding after being bumped at the start. There should be even more improvement in her now, and she can shed the maiden tag at the third attempt in what doesn't look the strongest race of its type. Pocotaligo heads up the dangers on first start for Adrian McGuinness, after getting back on track here two weeks ago, whilst Desert Viper, Zaamar and Silk Air can fight out minor honours.

Fort Myers - 18:45 Dundalk

The Aidan O'Brien-trained Fort Myers looks to have outstanding claims dropped down in grade to listed class, having made a successful debut here back in April, he has since consistently hit the frame in pattern company and doing nothing wrong in the Champagne Stakes at Doncaster last time. Justifier should go well after a short break and looks his main rival, ahead of Unforgetable and Punita Arora, who both make their polytrack debuts.

Farnese - 20:15 Dundalk

Farnese showed improved form to make a winning handicap debut over C&D six days ago, digging deep under pressure and the placed horses give substance to the form. He's not ideally drawn on this occasion but rates the type to progress further at this level and shades the vote to emerge on top. Hidden Spark and Cautious Approach are also respected, along with Caesar's Comet.
