Timeform advise three bets on Wednesday's card at Punchestown...
"Punchestown's 15:45 looks pretty tricky but it may be worth taking a chance on Kennoway, who looked on an upward curve when scoring at Roscommon in May..."
The 15:10 has the makings of a very hot Beginners' chase with several useful hurdle recruits now tackling larger obstacles. The vote goes to Clonbanan Lad who may just have a fitness edge over a number of his rivals having finished a good second at Listowel last month, while Our Vinnie and Morning Assembly head the dangers of which there are plenty. The selection was a dual bumper winner who got off the mark at his first attempt over timber for this yard at Punchestown a year ago. Encouraging start to chasing when second at Listowel last month, and interesting here.
Punchestown's 15:45 looks pretty tricky but it may be worth taking a chance on Kennoway, who looked on an upward curve when scoring at Roscommon in May, and could just take another leap forward on return here, judged on the manner of that success. The seven-year-old improved when landing a 2m Cork handicap chase in April, and built on that to score at Roscommon in May (drew clear). Going the right way, and leading claims on return here.
Shesafoxylady (16:15) lady has improved steadily in 3 starts to date and she gets a narrow vote to gain a second career success. Elsie and Toe The Line are 2 very real dangers and ought to cause the selection plenty to think about.
