There's racing at Dundalk on Wednesday evening and Timeform have identified the three best bets.
"The three-year-old Jacobs Well is lightly raced having made just the two starts this year, and he holds outstanding claims on the back of a very good second at Leopardstown last time..."
Dundalk 18:05 - Acroleina
Acroleina proved better than ever when winning at Laytown in September, travelling smoothly before quickening sharply to win readily, and she looks a big player off a 1 lb higher mark. Acroleina hasn't been with trainer Harry Rogers for long so may be capable of better still, whilst she has a solid record over this C&D so looks sure to give a good account.
Dundalk 20:35 - Dove Mountain
Dove Mountain improved on recent efforts to win a handicap at Wolverhampton recently and will prove difficult to beat if in similar form. Dove Mountain was slowly away at Wolverhampton but made smooth headway into contention and was still on the bridle when hitting the front approaching the final furlong. He soon shot clear when asked, clocking an impressive sectional time, and is capable of following up.
Dundalk 21:05 - Jacobs Well
The three-year-old Jacobs Well is lightly raced having made just the two starts this year, and he holds outstanding claims on the back of a very good second at Leopardstown last time. Jacobs Well improved for the step up to ten furlongs at Leopardstown, pulling well clear of the third as he threw down a strong challenge to the winner, and he remains on a good mark and open to further improvement.
