Timeform focus on this evening's card at Dundalk for their three SmartPlays...
"The 20:45 could see those racing handily come out on top and the vote goes to Settle For Red, who ran very creditably last time and has been dropped a pound since."
The standard in the 18:45 is set by Peony Fairy who went off a very short-priced favourite when being turned over here last time. She made the running that day and may prove difficult to pass if doing so again. One who might do just that, however, is Iontas, who will have learnt a lot on debut when she ran on nicely prior to being hampered and she gets the vote with that experience behind her. Of the others, Komitoe and Roheryn arrive from the same Curragh maiden and could both benefit from the drop back in trip.
Rose Angel has been running very consistently and is likely to be a popular choice in the 20:15, having just held on here last Friday. Gatamala looks likely to have things his own way at the head of affairs if he gets a run and will give a bold show while Table Forty Six is untried at this distance and runs from a mark well below that of his August win. Preference, however, is for Lord Kenmare, another who won last time out. That was his second run back from a break and he could well prove to be the best horse in the race if that has reignited his old spark.
The 20:45 could see those racing handily come out on top and the vote goes to Settle For Red, who ran very creditably last time and has been dropped a pound since. Fiftyshadesofred has shown he can be competitive since stepping up to this sort of distance, while handicapping is also showing Stynes in a fairer light and those two are likely to be in there fighting. Mischief N Mayhem is worth keeping an eye on, too, if she doesn't race too keenly.
