This evening's mixed card at Sligo is the setting for Tuesday's Irish SmartPlays...
"The thriving Harangue... can get the hat-trick up at the expense of Bouncing Betty and Make It Better."
Division two of the seven-furlong handicap at 17:50 is our first stop. Here the unexposed Beau Satchel promises to take another step forward now stepped up in trip, with the prospect of ease in the ground holding no terrors for him. Beat The Bell and Drinmoy Lad are also interesting contenders.
The apprentice handicap an hour later looks unlikely to take much winning. Selection Sweet Refusal is established as a modest maiden, though she excelled herself when chasing home Jayed Jidan at Galway last time and a repeat of that performance would put her right in the mix here. In an event where few make much appeal, she is taken to get the better of Idlewild and Las Encinas.
The card switches codes after the 18:50, and the handicap hurdle at 19:50 is where our final bet appears. The thriving Harangue, a C&D winner who has scored in good style for new yard at Worcester and Southwell on his last two starts, can get the hat-trick up at the expense of Bouncing Betty and Make It Better.
