"... it's difficult to make a case for most of the runners in this handicap hurdle. Bank Bonus is an exception..."
There are just the 21 runners to deal with in the 12:55, a three-mile handicap chase. Baily Dusk has been revitalised by blinkers of late, and can confirm form with a number who were behind him at Clonmel, especially with him having taken another step forward since. Kilcommon Pride and Easy Vic are suggested as possible alternatives to the selection.
The Walsh/Mullins factor is at play in the novice hurdle at 14:00. It could work for us, as in form terms the O'Grady-trained Gallant Tipp ought to be right bup with Devils Bride at the top of the betting but, presumably as a result of connections, the two are a clear couple of points apart. That makes Clonmel winner Gallant Tipp, who achieved a pretty high level that day, a bet at the prices.
There's another big field in the 15:05, but it's difficult to make a case for most of the runners in this handicap hurdle. Bank Bonus is an exception, as he looks to be getting his act together over hurdles and is the one to side with bearing in mind his useful Flat ability in Britain. Milestone Miss is on a good mark at present and may emerge as the chief threat fitted with a visor.
