Tonight's jumps card at Clonmel comes under inspection.

"Reflet Ambre was fairly useful on the Flat in France and has the best form of those with experience over hurdles..."

Cappacurry Zak sets the clear standard in the maiden hurdle at 18:20 on his runner-up effort at Tramore last month, so this looks a good opening for him. Mount Gunnery has the services of Ruby Walsh and can make his presence felt, whilst the Flat-bred newcomer Domesday Book needs a market check.

Reflet Ambre was fairly useful on the Flat in France and has the best form of those with experience over hurdles in the following maiden over the shorter two-mile trip. He looks the best option. Triomonti may fare best of the racecourse debutants, with Thefiddlerofduneen also considered.

Roisin Dubh has gone close when runner-up over hurdles and on the Flat on her last two starts and can make it third-time lucky in a handicap at 19:25 that doesn't have the depth that field size might imply. Silver Chief is feared most, while The Conker Club makes each-way appeal.
