Tigris River can win for JP McManus at Listowel
Tigris River can win for JP McManus at Listowel

Timeform have found three bets for you at Listowel on Sunday.

"Tigris River ran out a well-backed, wide-margin winner at the Galway Festival, comfortably beating the reopposing Zafayan, and he then barely needed to come off the bridle to follow up at Cork."

Listowel 13:15 - Tigris River

There are a number of promising types in this contest, though none more so than Tigris River who has won with a great deal of ease on his two latest outings and looks well capable of completing the hat-trick. Tigris River ran out a well-backed, wide-margin winner at the Galway Festival, comfortably beating the reopposing Zafayan, and he then barely needed to come off the bridle to follow up at Cork. He steps into handicap company on a fair-looking mark and should go close.

Listowel 14:15 - Rock The World

Rock The World has taken well to chasing and, having displayed a fantastic attitude to win at Galway last time, is expected to score again. There are some interesting rivals in opposition, notably Guitar Pete, but Rock The World sets the standard and, boasting a sound jumping technique and willing attitude, he is likely to go extremely close.

Listowel 14:45 - Curragh Golan

Curragh Golan shaped as though he was still in top form when finishing fifth at Galway two weeks ago and he could well be the answer here. Curragh Golan wasn't ideally placed the way things panned out at Galway, patiently ridden and given plenty to do, but he fared best of those who raced off the pace and he may benefit from Paul Townend taking over in the saddle.
