The Timeform Irish team are back with three more selections for tonight's meeting at Naas...
Shebella is expected to take this before going onto even better things...
The 18:20 is a competitive-looking handicap and Royal Visit is sure to have plenty of supporters following his win in a competitive maiden over this course and distance last month. However, the second that day, Srucahan comes here after making the most of a straightforward opportunity at Tipperary last time and, with a good claimer booked, he is 10 lb better off with Royal Visit for 1¾ length beating. Although, Royal Visit is open to further improvement, he may struggle to concede that weight and Srucahan looks sure to go close.
The Group 3 Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Blue Wind Stakes features some potentially useful fillies, none more so than Shebella. The John Oxx-trained filly created a good impression when winning a maiden at Limerick in March, beating Ahaaly (a useful winner since) by a neck. The fact she is taking in a pattern race on her second outing indicates that she is held in high regard, and Shebella is expected to take this before going onto even better things.
The apprentice handicap at 20:20 looks a trappy affair, but Via Del Corso is a consistent sort and shaped better than the bare result when fourth to Landsdowne at Cork last time. Via Del Corso would have finished closer that day but for being set too much to do and, given she races off the same mark here, she looks capable of landing an elusive first success this evening.
Back Srucahan in the 18:20
Back Shebella in the 19:20
Back Via Del Corso in the 20:20
