Timeform provide you with three tips from Gowran Park's high-class National Hunt meeting on Saturday.

"Dual Grade 1-winning chaser Clarcam can make a winning return to action at Gowran Park"

Gowran Park 14:20 - Lake Champlain

Lake Champlain was a beaten odds-on favourite at Listowel last time, though he did have some excuses and is worth another chance. The ground at Listowel was extremely testing and Lake Champlain probably did a bit too much too soon, whilst a couple of late errors didn't help his chances either. He'd previously created a good impression when scoring at Down Royal and the application of a hood allied with the return to better ground is expected to be of benefit.

Gowran Park 15:25 - Weather Watch

Weather Watch showed fairly useful form on the Flat and he shaped encouragingly on his first start over hurdles, finishing third in a big-field maiden hurdle at Navan. Weather Watch was keeping on nicely when making a mistake at the last, but he showed enough to suggest that he's capable of winning an event such as this, whilst the level he achieved on the Flat offers hope that he's capable of better yet in this sphere.

Gowran Park 16:35 - Clarcam

Dual Grade 1-winning chaser Clarcam can make a winning return to action at Gowran Park. Clarcam was predominantly campaigned over two miles last season, but he showed that this trip holds no fears when winning the Grade 1 Manifesto Chase at Aintree, keeping on strongly to readily see off Vibrato Valtat. He has a good chance based on that form and should go close.
