Timeform Irish SmartPlays: Saturday February 21

JP McManus's Tri Na Ceile can win at Fairyhouse
JP McManus's Tri Na Ceile can win at Fairyhouse

There's racing at Fairyhouse on Saturday afternoon and Timeform have found three bets for you...

Tri Na Ceile appears to be on a fair mark and remains open to improvement.

Fairyhouse 14:40 - Two Rockers NON RUNNER

Two Rockers didn't fulfill his undoubted potential over hurdles for Alan King, failing to kick on from a successful novice campaign, but he's been going well in Points for the Maguire yard, and, as an eight-year-old, he remains open to plenty of improvement. Two Rockers unseated his rider on his latest start, but he can quickly bounce back from that and should prove too good.

Fairyhouse 15:15 - Tri Na Ceile

Fairly useful Flat performer Tri Na Ceile attracted support ahead of her handicap hurdle bow at Leopardstown recently, and she put up a respectable effort to finish fifth. Tri Na Ceile could never really get involved in that 18-furlong contest, looking in need of further, and she should prove well suited by today's step up in trip. Jessie Harrington's mare appears to be on a fair mark and remains open to improvement.

Fairyhouse 15:50 - Jimmy Two Times

Jimmy Two Times was unlucky not to win on handicap debut at Leopardstown, falling at the last with the race at his mercy, and he can gain compensation this afternoon. Jimmy Two Times kept forfeiting ground by jumping out to his right, but that wasn't going to stop him winning, and he looked like a horse some way ahead of his mark. The form of that race has worked out and a 5 lb rise in the weights shouldn't be a problem.
