This evening's all-weather action at Dundalk provides Friday's Irish SmartPlays...
"Aru Cha Cha was then beaten by Caso Do Lago last time but is now better off at the weights with that one."
In the first division of the apprentice handicap (18:15), Cristy's Call improved to land C&D handicap last November. He ran ran when second back here last time and and can take this at the main expense of Khelino and Kalacan.
Division two of the same race follows half an hour later. In it, veteran Maal is fancied despite being on a two-year-long losing run. He has finished runner-up on his last four starts, though, and is likely to go very close once more if arriving here in the same form. Elusive Award and Stoichkov can give him most to do.
Finally, we turn our attention to the five-furlong nursery at 19:45. Aru Cha Cha improved drastically on his maiden form when narrowly losing out in a seven-furlong Down Royal nursery. He was then beaten by Caso Do Lago last time but is now better off at the weights with that one. He can reverse the form this evening.
