Timeform bring you their three best bets for Friday evening's card from Limerick...
"It might require a bit of a leap of faith but the veteran Maal may be coming back to the boil..."
We kick off proceedings with a seven-furlong handicap (18:55) and although several of these have come on for their respective reappearances, the vote goes to Doonard Prince. He won at Naas in April and was a very good second in a handicap at the Curragh 12 days ago; he does compete off a career-high mark but looks to be in top form at present and looks to have an excellent chance.
It's another handicap under consideration next, this time over an extended six furlongs (19:25) and although it might require a bit of a leap of faith, the veteran Maal may be coming back to the boil. Although it's been 32 runs since his last win in Ireland, he is now back to a very workable mark and has won here before. His last couple of runs suggest a return to form is possible and this looks as good a chance as he's had for a while.
The final bet of the day comes in a handicap for apprentices over 11 furlongs (20:30) and the unexposed Sixteen Again looks to have been allotted a fair opening mark and can use it to his advantage. He's also got cheekpieces to aid his efforts for the first time today and his maiden form looks a strong enough springboard from which to make an impact this afternoon, although last year's winner Blue Ridge Lane merits respect.
