Timeform suggest three bets at Navan this afternoon...
Trazar is the obvious starting point after an impressive victory last time, but it may be worth chancing the fitness of Takestan (13:50) given the mark he's fallen to. Desert Roe also needs a market check now handicapping. The 10-year-old is a hold-up hurdler who has been lightly raced in recent times, but he shaped better than result when last seen 11 months ago and has dropped to a very tempting mark of 88, having finished previously third of 100, on his reappearance.
Celestial Prospect (14:55) is a 3-time winner at Wexford within the past 12 months, the last twice on the level, and the booking of Ruby Walsh suggests a big run is expected here. Grove Field scored at Clonmel last time, and heads the list of dangers, with Jack The Hat and Morning Ireland others to consider.
Few make any appeal in the 16:00, with Hello Louie taken to enhance Noel Dooly's excellent strike rate this season. Lily of Killarney is languishing on the subs bench, but would be the main threat if making the cut, with Valours Minion and Spiker The Biker holding solid place credentials. The selection was still in a narrow lead when falling in maiden at Bellewstown last August, and back to form on debut for new yard when runner-up at Clonmel last time. Conceded first run there, and looks the one to beat here.
