Timeform put forward three bets in this evening's card at Dundalk...
"Apache Gold still looks to be on a handy mark and no surprise were he to return to winning ways..."
Caso Do Lago arrives here in fine form but could find life tougher from his new mark so is worth taking on with Lady Mega (17:45), who remains with potential and seems sure to go well. The juvenile didn't cost much at the sales but confirmed the promise of debut when getting off the mark over C&D a week ago, doing well after conceding first run. Likely to progress further and worthy of respect.
It's easy to make a strong case for both Apache Gold and Have A Nice Day in the 18:15, with the former narrowly awarded the vote. The selection improved to score at Cork (6f) last month in this headgear, and not disgraced over 1m here last week. Still looks to be on a handy mark and no surprise were he to return to winning ways.
Shes No Joke sets the standard but isn't certain to stay this far, whilst Our Max isn't really progressing, so it could be worth taking a chance on newcomer Tobair An Sheeda (21:15), who makes obvious appeal on paper and has been found a fairly weak race to start off in. The selection, a half-sister to several winners including the very smart Fox Hunt and smart pair Anam Alta and Opinion, wouldn't be a surprise winner on debut and could go well.
