Timeform's Irish team are back with three more selections for the rearranged card at Punchestown this evening....
The step up in trip will suit and, given there should be still more to come from him, Fishoutofwater should take plenty of beating here.
First up today is the Willie Mullins-trained Lambro, who attempts to bounce back from a disappointing run at the Cheltenham Festival. Prior to that effort, Lambro had been shaping well over fences, winning on his chase debut at Naas before showing useful form in defeat, chasing home Flemenstar at the same course and then finishing third to Last Instalment in a Grade 1 at Leopardstown. His last run is easily forgiven, given his powerful yard didn't seem to be firing on all cylinders at the time and, with the stable back in top form, Lambro is expected to go very close this evening.
Next up is Last Time d'Albain who has got his act together over fences since being sent handicapping, winning at Navan in December. He has largely held his form since, and showed marked improvement when chasing home Lucky William at Fairyhouse in April. The subsequent exploits of Lucky William make him Lat Time d'Albain a clear form choice, and a reproduction of that effort will make him very difficult to beat.
Last but by no means least, is the Rebecca Curtis-trained Fishoutofwater. He has taken time to come to hand over fences following two handicap hurdle victories at the beginning of last season, but he posted a much-improved effort when nine lengths second to Pepite Rose in a novice handicap event last time. The step up in trip will suit and, given there should be still more to come from him, Fishoutofwater should take plenty of beating here.
