Timeform pick out their best three bets from this afternoon's Irish Oaks card at the Curragh...

"...she is expected to get back on track here."

Timeform on Just Wonderful

Just Wonderful - Curragh 16:20

Just Wonderful went backwards in the Albany Stakes last time time - Moore getting caught in two minds about which group to follow - but she caught the eye when making a winning debut over this C&D in May under Ryan Moore, a maiden in which Clemmie had finished third the year before, and as such she is expected to get back on track here.

St Patrick's Day - Curragh 16:55

St Patrick's Day arrives here after an eye-catching debut for Aidan O'Brien when third in a listed contest over a mile here in June, shaping better than the bare result, and the drop back to seven furlongs now will suit. As such, he gets the vote to defeat his elders, of whom David O'Meara's pair So Beloved and Larchmont Lad are perhaps the biggest dangers.

Forever Together - Curragh 17:30

Forever Together arrives here on the back of a defeat as a short priced favourite in the Pretty Polly Stakes last time out. However, the drop back to 10 furlongs didn't suit her that day, not being seen to anything like as good effect as she was when winning the Oaks at the beginning of June. She remains the one to beat on form terms - she's clear on Timeform ratings - and the return to a mile and a half will suit. She represents in-form connections and is fancied to uphold the Epsom form with Magic Wand, who is far shorter in the betting.
