Timeform on Ask Heather

Timeform provide the best bets from Fairyhouse on Saturday...

Ask Heather - 12:25 Fairyhouse

This is a competitive contest, but Ask Heather looks well treated and gets the vote. She has created a good impression over fences this season, justifying support at Tramore before running at least as well in defeat at Naas next time. She finished third at Naas, beaten five lengths, but that doesn't tell the full story as she made a bad mistake at the second-last. She likely would have gone close but for that mistake and can gain compensation here off just a 1 lb higher mark. Demi Plie ran her best race yet under a double penalty at Clonmel last time and is regarded as the biggest danger.

Kildorrery - 13:00 Fairyhouse

Plenty of these have a question to answer but Kildorrery arrives on the back of a decent effort at Naas last time and holds solid claims. He was possibly flattered by his proximity to Cilaos Emery and Ornua, but it was still a pleasing performance and represented a step forward on an encouraging return at Limerick last month, where he shaped as if he would come on for the run. He appears to be on a fair mark and can be relied upon to give his running. The big danger is Avenur d'Une Vie, who showed useful form for Henry de Bromhead and is interesting on his first start for Gordon Elliott.

Jukebox Jive - 14:45 Fairyhouse

Jukebox Jive turned in his best effort of the season at Naas last time on his first start for Gavin Cromwell, landing a competitive Flat handicap by a length and three quarters. That showed he is in good form, and he is of significant interest on his handicap hurdle debut. He has raced only twice over hurdles but was successful at Fontwell two years ago, and could be open to more improvement for this yard. He can cash in on a fair-looking mark.
